Barley is just about finished but the wheat harvest is only just moving into top gear in southern Qld. and there are a few storms around to dampen the prospects a little despite yields being well above average for those growers who managed to plant a crop between rain events earlier in the year. There are a few crops around that have lost some colour, a sure sign of some weather damage. From here the harvest moves south through NSW so I am a little curious about large tonnages already moving to port unless it is barley or storages clearing out the 2020 harvest in order to receive this one.
