Quamera, many thanks.
'The large tonnages already moving to port' are the winter 2020 crop, so great was it.
GNC is very competent at obtaining bulk ships but some months ago these were reported as in short supply.
Unfortunately the BOM is forecasting either five or six days of rain in a fair swathe of NSW (including for some localities a 'possible storm' on either Wednesday or Thursday) for such towns as Condobolin, Coonamble, Cootamundra, Nyngan, Temora, Walgett and West Wyalong along with the rural cities of Albury, Dubbo and Wagga Wagga.
AaronS76 (who knows 100 times more than me re grains) says this won't be helpful. If some places receive storms, that may be an understatement.
Solaces include that rain can be very localised, and the BOM has far from a perfect record. I assume many graingrowers in soyuthern NSW may only very recently have started to harvest so if they have the equipment, one can see some 24-hour operation occurring.
Get it into the silos and bunkers!
