The rains continue. From 0900 hours on Wednesday 17 March until 1700 - eight hours - Walgett in far northwestern NSW has enjoyed 31.2mm on top of 10.2mm in the 24 hours to 0900, so St Patrick is weaving his green magic.
Condobolin has had 16.8mm since 0900 hours, while another NSW locality, Trangie, has had 23.2mm. As always, it won't fall in every paddock and harvest time around November for northwest NSW is a heck of a long way off, but it's an encouraging start to the year.
