'The Weekly Times' (Vic) on Wednesday 1 December 2021 had a story about a probable 'A$2 billion loss' for NSW graingowers due to the excessive and pretty much constant rains resulting in likely downgrading of much of the crop.
However, interestingly, it also featured a grower from Curyo (between Donald and Ouyen in Victoria) who suggested that despite problems with patchy rain, he was happy with yields on his mixed grain operation.
Elsewhere, it was suggested that harvesting is running about four weeks late and that there may not be a clear picture until near the end of January 2022.
