GNC may be a 'takeover target' as you assert - you will have a better idea than me - but The Nationals and some if not many Liberals would oppose a foreign company taking it over, just as they previously did.
Treasurer Frydenberg would never approve a foreign company taking over GNC in my view. A majority of Australians would agree.
Thankfully we don't have a Federal Labor or Labor/Greens?"Independents" (haha) government, but if we were stupid enough to elect these dangerous clowns, their attitude may be a little different. Look at how Labor state governments, especially in Victoria, sell their communities out to mainland China's CCP.
