In the 24 hours to 0900 this morning, Coonamble had an astounding 86mm and Walgett close to 70mm, so growers' problems may be that flooding restricts their ability to get into paddocks.
Trangie had 61mm, and the rains continue this morning around Dubbo and Nyngan.
Given the crops aren't planted yet, perhaps it's a nice problem to have as subsoil moisture should be excellent. Farmers are smarter than me and may have 'workarounds' in such wet conditions.
