One of the inputs affecting the story back then was the reducing Lithium price. Things have changed since and the Lithium price is now rising (particularly battery grade) and is expected to continue to rise through 2021-24 with the forecast demand v supply picture. It would be enlightening to compare any rise in this cost against the rise in selling price to gauge any net impact. The real numbers will give a true (and fuller) picture of what is going on here than is covered in this article written back in August.
