My only concern is the lack of visibility in recent weeks. I don’t want hyper-management who put out fluff at the drop of a hat, or who are overly obsessed about the hour-to-hour movements in the share price. But when the value of the company’s shares drop by around a third in a fortnight - on no news and in an otherwise stable-to-buoyant sector - and there is no proactive reassurance by management on the fundamentals and forecasts, then it undoubtedly reduces my faith in their competence and commitment to protecting long term shareholder value. This downwards movement is not a minor hiccup that could possibly have gone unnoticed - most other company’s would’ve surely addressed it head on by now.
