Yes. The million mile battery. Not mentioned during Teslas battery day. Lake has potential to be carbonate supplier. Novonix will ultimately in my opinion be the battery supplier to Tesla for the million mile battery with Panasonic. Tesla will make the batteries only for cyber truck tesla semi S and X and roadster. As these are low volume. Panasonic and Novonix will make the battery for 3 and the Y and more importantly the power wall. High volume.

Elon tweeted about the batteries made for the above said vehicles and mentioned he would not reveal everything.

Confidentiality would be needed as they already have current agreements with other suppliers and would not want to jeopardise those relationships.

Fun speculating, but hopeful for Lake. Anson Resources is there as well so would be good to see if there was a difference in battery performance given they have higher impurities.

Novonix. Tesla and Lake all are at pilot stage of production with batteries and are looking to complete in the same year and are all tied in some way. End of the year will be interesting.
