I agree, a million mile battery lasts for about 4,000 cycles with losing less than 20% of its initial capacity. The battery has to be charged and discharged in each cycle and this takes time. Let's assume Novonix can do 10 cycles per day, that would mean 400 days, which is more than a year.

Now, the specialty of Novonix is to have such high precision measurements that even with less cycles they can forecast the behavior of the battery. But the point is that this second phase of testing can last longer than the first phase, and I also think that the longer it lasts the better the longevity of the battery tested with LKE Lithium can be.
