I also think that the selling pressure that we have witnessed in the last few weeks was mostly due to some people selling LKE shares to be able to exercise their 35c options (beside some very red general market days as well). And this kind of selling as you said as well will obviously end this week, as the 35c options will expire tomorrow. What will happen after that with the newly received shares is anyone's guess, but we have a similar situation that happened this year mid June. Then, as soon as the 10c options expired, the SP started to increase. Please see the below chart.
That time there were about 52 million options. I think that while selling shares for options is urgent because it has a deadline, selling new shares doesn't have a deadline, so this didn't seem to have had any visible negative impact in June.
