I'm all for gender neutral. That means appointing the best person u can possibly find to do the job at hand, regardless of sex, and not because of it. Appointing a female,for the sake of it, and to appease the politically correct, should be insulting to all, regardless of gender. Females think differently to males. That's a critical point, and 1 that has to be considered re board balance. That said, BRN needs to pursue the best, whatever the role, whatever ur sex. I believe having a female , and perhaps plural, on the BRN board is imperitive. What's also imperitive is to make sure that any appointments are qualification based, and not gender based. It's a very difficult mix, and 1 I'm sure will be addressed going forward.
