its funny you link that article. Brainchip actually patented this exact application using two networks. One to detect the sound that could be a word and s second to recognise the word. Ultra low power. Our guys are superior and we actually best Intel at patenting this technology. They Were forced to strike out a few of their claims.
id say that is a victory.
