Ever wonder which businesses did well during the Great Recession and the Great Depression?
Unsurprisingly, most of these high-return Great Depression stocks were part of industries (defence, energy, technology, materials) helping America in its Second World War efforts.
Shorts are the parasites of the world making money from a desperate situation and making that situation worse. I prefer to invest and grow a company that may have an impact on the world for the good of mankind. Safety, health and security are a few.
