Here in Sydney we had according to the reports a case of transmission of the Delta strain of Covid-19 when a person with the virus walked past another person in a shop which I believe was a Myer store.

It seems that this device will tell you after the person has been infected that there is infection in the store.

It will not tell you who is the person carrying the infection or who has been infected.

I am not really sure how it will assist because if it detects the virus in the air if it is the Delta strain it is already too late or am I missing something.

Anyone understand its benefit for Covid???

I can see it of benefit post an infective event where a deep clean of a premises is undertaken to confirm that the premises are safe but not before that???
