To follow up. Possible hypothesis.
SoftBank(ARM) and Renesas are Japanese. Our first IP was quickly done with Renesas. Renesas knew they had the Trump card with our IP. Went and bought Dialog soon after.
Rob Telson joined BRN in August 2020. September 2020 the NIVIDIA takeover was announced, Rob left ARM on the takeover rumours from April 2020 and joined BRN soon after as he wasn't happy with it.
ARM had 13 or so founders. This fact alone shows there are many cooks in the kitchen. With this podcast announcement, will some engineers move their way over too seeing their future is uncertain with the takeover.
Apple is linked with ARM and Dialog (which is now Renesas). This fact alone tells me a lot.
