If you didn't watch it one of the most compelling parts ( towards the end) was where the speaker has a robotic art holding a hammer which has be trained to avoid a person, just in front of his groin. An SNN learns on the fly that the hammer can have different weights and that the robotic arm can have wear and tear. On a CNN which can't adapt to these changes you'll get it in the jewels.
