That was just a whimsical throwaway triggered by the ebullience induced by the ARM blog tweet. .
With our Akida Everywhere philosophy, and the low proce of Akida SoC, I would guess that the Akida IP licences are also priced to make designing around or patnt litigation a non-viable option.
