weare interested in investing in your company in the form of shares and we wouldask you to answer the following questions:
Howdo youn want to continue raising money without spending more shares? Werecently entered into an agreement with a company called LDA Capital thatallows us to avoid doing large share placements which we know are dilutive andnot well liked by shareholders. However we are still in a phase of the companywhere minimal capital raises may be necessary so the LDA agreement allows us toissue small blocks of shares over time and only as we need the capital.
Whichproduct will be ready for the market in the next 24 months? Our Akida IPis ready right now and as you likely already know, we have sold our first IPlicense to a large reputable chipmaker called Renesas. The Akida 1000 chip (insilicon) will be ready by early fall this year.
Arethere already contracts for the acceptance of the products? Yes, seeabove, we recorded our first commercial sale in December of 2020 for our AkidaIntellectual Property.
Whendo you expect the first sales/ profit ? This is difficult to say right nowbecause it will depend on how aggressive we try to grow the business. This willdepend heavily on how well accepted our product is and forecasts of futuredemand. At this stage, we have not publicly released any revenue or earningsamounts. If the product is successful as we think it will be, we will remainvery heavily focused on growth to ensure we retain any market share advantagewe can establish in this rapidly expanding space before legitimate competitorsrush in.
Furtherwe to know, if you have already tested the tumor early detection and howexactly the chip can learn? I’m not aware of the progress on tumor earlydetection but we have had very encouraging results with identifying volatileorganic compounds in exhaled human breath. The chip’s unique design allows forimmediate on-chip learning without the need to reload the entire network whichis the disadvantage behind how traditional convolutional neural networksoperate. Instant, real-time on chip learning is perhaps the biggest advantageAkida has over all of the competition. There is no other chip on the market thathas this capability.
Arethere collaborations with other well-known manufactures? There are noofficial agreements in place at this time.
Whatview do you have about the competition? We believe we are ahead of thecompetition however Intel is working very hard on a chip that uses the samespiking neural network technology as we use. For the time being, their chip isa research chip only and not ready for commercial applications. We are at leasta year or two ahead of them with our current chip with newer updated versionson the way.
