My father had 7 kids and throughout my childhood worked two jobs, the only time I saw him was he pushing a mower at home trying to keep on top of his home duties.
Whilst working as a roof plumber he had two work mates ask him to invest $10k into a business proposal for guardrails on roofs. Dad with no money declined and worked for his mates.
Not long after they sold the business and both were multi millionaires.
I won’t make that mistake!
