I mentioned it the other day but it is occurring more often as the spring tightens that the average price on Chi X is higher than on the ASX. The line we are fed is that Chi X is for the sophs and institutions and retail all hang around like swill on the ASX. While it is a way to self promote why you should be taking advice and investing via institutions and paying fat commissions it is true to say that mostly they trade via Chi X so this continuing turn of the wheel to being led by Chi X should be watched. There was a suggestion that a 1 million order at 50 cents was actually real and while its not so big as to exclude a retail buyer it not so small as to exclude an institution or soph.
