This recent video shows Sony's Event based Vision Sensor (EVS).

I think it's worth watching just to highlight some of the unique ways and benefits of event based cameras. From about 2:30 onwards it shows a few good examples of where they can be used. It's a timely reminder and worth remembering that Akida is the only processor that can take full advantage of the low power and sparsity in the images these cameras produce.

For example it shows human tracking, where you can't see anything in the standard camera but it's clear as daylight with event cameras. Or seeing individual droplets in flowing water. These cameras are going to open up huge new industries and we have the only universal processor that can exploit their unique properties.

Pure speculation, DYOR
