I think you have nailed it with this post @DingoBorat. US market sentiment will be improved and the Fed will now not feel inclined to rock the ship this time around. Tomorrow the ASX should be sailing in clear wind with good ship Brainchip on course again back to somewhere above and about 46.2 cents.
I must admit to finding irony in the west complaining about China failing to properly regulate their banking sector when you consider what happened with Leeman Bros and Wall Street and only a few years later Wall Street complained that the new regulations were destroying the market and the pollies feeling sorry for them relaxed the controls again. Pots, kettles and black come to mind.
There is a song about being a ship on an ocean that comes to mind.
