I don't usually find myself in the position of wet blanket (that's @BarrelSitter's job) but it looks like there chips are coming from VIDEANTIS in Germany. What's interesting in the article below is that it also says this -

Videantis’ SoCs sourced from a leading global semiconductor supplier for a smart camera program are based on the Hanover, Germany based sartup’s proprietary processing architecture and are accompanied by programming tools originating from this company.
So to me this means it may not be their own but from someone like Renesas? I had a look and couldn't find a RENESAS connection (except for back in 2013)...........Perhaps @BarrelSitter can shed some light on VIDEANTIS IP?
