Thanks chapman89 and Townyj for sharing the news - unwelcome though they may be from a competitive point of view. The competition is slowly catching up!

3-year lead only valid against what others have revealed - BRN not the only one playing cards close to their chest. We do not know the specs or capabilities of Akida 2000/ 3000 etc. yet, do we?

Loihi2 with 1m neurons and 120m synapses and working platform called Lava vs Akida's 10b synapses on MetaTF. It shares the same ultra low power consumption advantage. IP offering 'speculated' to be available in the near future, while chip is now available for 'on-premise research collaboration expected over the next 12 to 24 months'.

Looks to be awhile before commercialisation happens for them, but competition is not to be discounted. Last night I was watching videos on past giants in businesses who were left behind by new competitors, and hubris/ complacency was a big part of their downfall...
