Maybe it wont impact the share price, but some retail will sell out. Especially if they are emotionally invested or have invested to much money.
After all that's why retail is called "dumb money"
It would also be naive to say that the big money does not try to influence the share price across multiple different mediums. Print, TV, youtube, reddit and even this little forum.
