We are probably both wrong but I was sent this by my overseas advisor for comment yesterday and I read a lot of stuff put out by Sony over last 12 months and came to the same conclusion it is intended to be an Ai agnostic platform for servicing the Smart edge.
As I was reading your post though I was thinking to myself a lot of big players are putting in place what I will loosely call infrastructure to handle the coming proliferation of Smart Edge devices.
This led to once again AKIDA right place right time.
