when I say competitor I simply am trying to point out that most of the world use CNN for their AI processing still to this day, but I believe that is about to change, hence why I am a huge believer in SNN and have big stake (in my circumstance) in Brainchip. when the world will accept SNN as a preferred way of processing AI, (particular at the edge where power constraint cost, and cooling is a problem) based on obvious benefits, Akida will benefit from that. weather it be directly from their Chip, IP or CNN to SNN conversion .

The CNN to SNN conversion is a great feature, but is only relevant, again if people recognise the obvious benefits of event based neuromorphic computing and wants to do the change. I hope that clarifies what I meant with that statement. if you still don't agree with that, I would love to hear more about why you don't think CNN is a competitor to SNN
