For the ones whom aren't aware, just qualifying to be considered (fit enough) to be accepted on to the boards of the Nasdaq is an accomplishment in itself...if the Board decides to go for it, it is years (plural) before we would even qualify, of course that's my personal take.
It's really interesting, of the last 10 announcements on the ASX, 7 were considered price sensitive.
The market here in Australia just doesn't get it, 3 extremely important US Patents were granted recently, valued at what long term ?
The world's first production chip confirmed as 110% ready to go, and improved on twice since the first design, valued at what long term ?
To me and probably all educated stakeholders, it's simply a no brainer, Akida is a brilliant piece of history in the making, Peter Van Der Made and Anil Mankar will have their names etched into the record books, maybe I'm just bias or are too passionate about our founders, it's one of those things, you either believe or you don't.
I'd like to change the subject now and reference Ken Scarine.
Holding a sharp HB pencil in one hand and a clean piece of A4 paper in the other, is the general image that comes to mind when we think of accountants (generalized)..sort of the non-sexy, back office part of a company, the only time we think about the figures, generally, are at the quarterly reporting or an AGM or a Capital Raise, in between many people wouldn't have any idea how important Ken's job really is.
He has been extremely busy with the LDA Capital negotiations, Investor conferences and the most recent ADR listing in the US, did any of you even stop and consider how much work is involved with getting that off the ground, the ADR is so much more important than checking the daily price action, as FF mentioned ages ago, it can take somewhere between 6 to 12 months before any noticeable traction is observed.
Ken is now going to put the next part of his plan into action, meaning what exactly, he is about to start sowing the seed to major institutions in the US, and believe me that is going to be real hard work in the early stages, in my opinion.
He has already realised that trying to bring a potential new client onboard from zero up to speed in 30 minutes is an impossible task, but his job is so much more than writing/typing figures and trying to balance the ledger each and every quarter, he's out there meeting new potential customers each and every day, and on top of that , he has to be very confident in explaining the real benefits of the Akida suite of products, it's simply not an easy sell, so what I'm suggesting in a round about way is, be patient, revenue will be coming, I'm sure that we all agree on that subject, but is it still going to be "lumpy" as Lou once said, I believe so.
A good reflection point on your holding would be on or around 30 January 2023, giving you 4 quarters of growth opportunity to work through.
Finally, I'm not suggesting sending Ken any flowers, but if you email him, as many of you still do, at least acknowledge his work ethic and show some appreciation, he is a big part of this company moving forward as well.
