The new RAC Horizon magazine was an interesting read.
"How cars can look out for their humans:
- new tech is enabling cars to keep an eye on us while we drive and make us more comfortable for the ride
- advanced sensing tech and face recognition can assess the driver and their responses to ensure a safer and more comfortable experience
- driver monitoring systems (DMS) is life saving tech that will be mandatory in vehicles sold in the EU from 2024"

"How future homes will protect themselves:
- sensors around your home will help predict unforeseen events so you can make sure they don't happen
- while most of this home revolution has been focused on convenience offered by smart appliances, it is also triggering disruption in what is being called the connected insurance sector
- once IoT monitoring is in place, insurers can help prevent issues before they become more complex
- when it comes to prevention, future sensors may detect not just what is wrong, but where any issues might be"

IMO it would be nice to invest a company that has sensor-relevant technology for smart homes and smart cars (as well as many other applications). It would also be nice if there was technology available that would enable the aformentioned and formerly unavailable applications to become reality in the near future.
