As we have so many great contributors on here I may have this wrong but I think it was @uiux who poster a Renesas development chart for its Neuromorphic Ai program.
It showed by reference to calendar years where it proposed to be and the acquisition of the AKIDA IP accelerated it to the top of its table.
When posted I was of the opinion it was reasonable to infer that the AKIDA IP was why its CNN accelerator was suddenly improved.
My opinion only DYOR but perhaps uiux might post the table again.
