I thought the same thing about Google's Pixel 6 Tensor Chip - that their Tensor chip had to be BRN IP. However, how I understand it, the AI component relies on machine learning.

For Qualcomm to be putting this in their chip, they would have to have an IP agreement with BRN. That would be material.

That's my realist hat on - however - what I am seeing is phones like the Pixel 6 and this Qualcomm processor - there is a space being made in the architecture of the SOC for a neuromorphic processor. That role is currently being fulfilled by a machine learning AI processor, but AKIDA will enable edge AI without needing "lessons" in the form of algorithms being given to it by a massive machine learning server.
