The above sentence on your post is both correct and also not correct.
As FF has pointed out a few times the LEGAL contract can be worded so they do not have to make an ASX annoucement until even several years later due to provisions within the contract being fulfilled. Ask FF for another explanation.
As with all Laws and Legal documents .........its in the WORDING!
