Yes I understand. All of my points still stand so perhaps address them if you want an actual discussion? CMOS sensors are a big improvement over CCDs and if valeo was talking about "standard cameras" they are probably talking about CCDs.
The ultimate point though is that whether you get your point cloud with lidar or some other method, you can still feed that into the same SNN.
