These questions of which technology is best is neither here nor there when you consider the plastic bag blowing across the street which both Elon Musk and Peter van der Made have mentioned.

The issue is bigger than the plastic bag of course but what the plastic bag represents is intelligent decision making.

Despite various attempts on HC to prove intelligent life does not exist on planet Earth the human brain has decision making down to a fine art.

Detecting everything is only the first step. Having detected the object it needs to be identified. It then needs to be understood as stationary or moving. If moving its direction of movement needs to be determined. Then the really hard bit make an intelligent decision as to what action is required.

This of course is made more complex if there are more than one continuously moving object being observed simultaneously.

The only solution in the end to a real person behind the wheel will be UNCONNECTED AGi.

I am of course referring to achieving Level 5 autonomy. There will be many claims made below this level of what different brands can do but without AGi these are all dead ends.
