Evening all, I just had a really cool experience I wanted to share..
i went along to a VR / NFT talk this evening. The guys on stage were awesome, one of the guys was from Amazon, the others were in NFTs, very interesting. The metaverse was spoken about too.
When It came to Q and A.. I asked the question in some regard as to.. "you mentioned the cost of a VR experience etc being in terms of 100s of thousands.. you said it was unbelievable... You believe the metaverse is now.. etc etc.. DO YOU BELIEVE THAT THE HARDWARE AND PROCESSING POWER OF TODAYS Laptops/computers/phones are insufficient?"
reply: arrrr.. Arrrrr,... Arrr. Yes. Yes the hardware is a problem...we are limited within the software..
"are you aware of Akida??" ... 2 of 3 nod.. edge mentioned as emerging and needed.. Amazon guy, asked more questions. Amazon guy now informed of VR bounderies, and edge possibilities... And AKIDA....
take away. Nothing In the metaverse will take place until akida has saturated the market.
