Personally, I like to drive as well.
I don't like being a "passenger"..
I'll never have a self driven car, unless it is forced upon me.
The DH factor, will always be an issue..
I sometimes do sneakys, like doing a U-turn where it says no U-turn, but I've seen people do U-turns at the traffic lights, in broad daylight..
