The researchers behind the above paper believe that Spiking Neural Networks hold the secret to commercially viable vibration analyse. They make a very compelling case and their paper is worth reading.

As a result they hope to start work on building a proof of concept chip in the near future using SNN.

I suspect if all goes exactly to plan in two to three years they will be looking for venture capital to go commercial.

What did you say? AKIDA already offers vibration analysis and is commercially available.

That is really annoying I thought these guys were really onto something as it sounds like such a great idea the way they explain it. LOL
