I can´t see IBM and Intel as a big concern, if they don´t want to sell IP? The IP part really opens neuromorphic computing up to any company and any application, plus it´s saving space, plus it´s saving energy. Brainchip will eventually end up with the bigger slice of the pie, although probably on a lower margin. Intel and IBM also have to cover a huge research budget relative to Brainchip, which likely means more expensive chips.

I would be more affraid of Qualcomm coming out of the shadow with their own competitive neuromorphic chip.
