homeales your post about NASA and Brainchips "commercially" available neuromorphic platform was very interesting and I believe very close to reality.

Here is an addition to that post that might prove correct.

The NASA phase I proves successful. Then NASA can if it chooses skip Phase II and go straight to Phase III which involves commercial arrangements and contracts.
Now if Brainchips Akida does perform successfully in Phase I why would NASA not go straight to Phase III without wasting time.
Motivation would be the Space race that is now very real. Even India has joined in.
Now we have China & Russia announcing a joint Moon Base to be built.
Will this put pressure on the USA? You betcha!

Odds of getting Phase III next if Phase I successful ? VERY HIGH !!
Almost guaranteed in my opinion.
How long before we hear this announced then ?
