For those wondering how entry into ASX300 occurs the attached document may help. Also in that document are links to supporting documents. I would pay particular attention to the "Float Adjustment Methodology" document as it will explain a lot. A lot of the data used to make a decision on rebalance is hard to find so your guess is as good as mine but I would say no chance really this time around IMO. Stranger things have happened though.
