Not saying it can't be true but I think you're reading into what Musk says waaaaay too much. He speaks his mind and makes off cuff remarks all the time. Sometimes when he shouldn't - for example, calling an experienced cave diver a pedo because he rejected Elon's submarine idea to extract Thai kids from a cave and then hired a PI to try dig up dirt about the diver. Very odd.
