A billion dollars is not what it used to be have you seen the price of Sydney and Byron Bay real estate.
IMU an early stage biotech is a multi billion dollar company. Afterpay is a loss making bad debt buying company that someone is paying 32 billion for and we are talking about people becoming trillionaires.
Ten billion plus now is a decent amount of money but even that number is being eroded.
Adel is reported to be receiving $US100 million for her concert and interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Brainchip is therefore only valued at ten times a popular singers concert.
A billion dollars being a huge number as a construct in reality is something that needs to be abandoned and in any event it is not actually a billion dollars US this billion is AU so we are still short in US dollar terms.
