I agree Wilzy, I wonder if in some sense though they’ve misjudged the size of this initial batch of chips - underestimating how eager the general (nerd) public may be to get their hands on it (in whatever form the chip comes in). They’ve made it so easy for any Joe Shmo to play with that demand could quickly ramp up. I suspect there is some arrangement with Socionext/TSCM to be able to turn the tap on if this is the case, but how quickly would that turn around? Sometimes timing is everything.
