The following appointment came after Peter van der Made stated that they had the working cortical column on the bench. It is a worthwhile exercise to have a dive into Prof Harvey’s work and research in the area of cortical columns to understand how Peter van der Made can confidently state Brainchip is five years ahead.
If this were not so I have every confidence there would be mass resignations from the Brainchip Scientific Advisiry Board and in fact I believe that this estimate is very conservative for the same reason - academic integrity is a very important commodity.
