The definition of "edge" imo is very subjective at the moment.
Your analogy was perfect as it all depends on perspective.
A data centre technicians jargon would be totally different to designer of a product that may incorporate Akida. Also depends whether we're talking industrial or residential scenarios.
I do suspect though that marketing of other "edge AI" technology are initially perceived as competition and making the edge ai space seemingly crowded . For this reason Brainchip still remains well under the radar.
Luckily definitions are not as important as technical features and performance benefits. Advantages that Akida possesses and hope with high optimism will be be a preferred choice.
