It'll be interesting to see how/if these stats change in the next 2 years, considering the last couple have seen a miserable downtrend, which is now shifting to an uptrend...
Also interesting to note that your stats show most gaps closing within a very short timeframe - a few days to a week.

So, will the circa 8c gap close...? I guess it will if enough people believe it should, and trade accordingly, but imo there isn't the fundamental negativity anymore that would justify it from a non-TA standpoint....

As always, time will tell!
