Moving averages are a bit like gears in a car, we need to select the right moving average to capture the one way move with the correct speed of that move and every trend is geared slightly differently, Wave 3s are a high momentum one way move and anything above 9 for this wave indicates that momentum is stalling then 2 closes below indicates a significant chink in that momentum..I shouldnt say its never a wave3 but just not the ones I want to trade... but yes from experience 9 is about the maximum for a w3
