Hi kiwig,
Holding a core position while also having a smaller parcel ( maybe 10% ) to trade with is a good idea. Many others (myself included) have adopted a similiar strategy. If your trading is successful, you make additional gains as your larger holding hopefully moves upward as well. But MORE importantly, if you're not successful, damage is minimal and your main holding is still intact.
We are expecting important sp moving announcements from AGY anytime for the next few months. Trading your holding (whether large or small) could be risky.
All of us like to think we are good at trading. We love to talk about our winners while forgetting about our losers, good for the old ego. HC is a great platform for this. The truth is that it takes massive discipline to trade well cosistently. It's not for everybody.
