big Johnny, the 50% CGT benefit after 1 year is simply too good to ignore. I have done a few calculations ( very crude), and concluded that you could come out better with trading in and out at every fall and rise, but you would have to get them pretty close to win overall. my personal conclusion was that it not worth the stress to trade. you can still jump out if the world economy turns to shit.
